Police censured over Menezes case
London's Metropolitan Police made serious and avoidable errors in killing an innocent man, a watchdog says.
An Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) report highlights what it says were failures in procedures and communication.

And it says Commissioner Sir Ian Blair tried to prevent its investigation.
Sir Ian has again rejected calls for his resignation.

So the only man in the country in a position to take responsibility for this execution style killing, will not only face no sanction for this atrocity, he doesn't even have the decency to resign from his job.

Top that off with the weasel like politicians who are actually defending his position and you get a picture of the sort of arrogant, selfish, thoughtless individuals who have positions of power over the people of this country and will do anything to hang on to them. Gone are the days of anyone resigning honourably when they have failed in their duty it seems.

Isn’t it ironic that Ian Blair has the title ‘Sir’?

A title meant to embody a spirit of honour and chivalry, attached to a name that will forever be associated by many, with a man who is no longer deserving of credibility or respect.

How proud officers in the Metropolitan police must be to serve under such a noble leader.

And how comfortably must the population of London now sleep at nights to have this man responsible for their safety.
