There was disappointment in Branscombe, Devon this week when only two contestants turned up for the 51st annual barrel rolling contest. Recent police attempts to cordon off the town are said to have caused the low turn-out. A spokesman has said that the 1st prize of 50 BMW motorcycles is likely to instead be donated to 'local good causes'.
