Just how long will the UK and other western nations continue to treat Saudi Arabia as an equal, pander to its whims and ‘idiosyncrasies’ and keep their collective heads in the sand just to protect the oil industry?

Saudi Arabia is a barbaric society that allows acts of evil to be continually perpetrated in the name of its sickeningly inhumane legal system. It perpetuates brutality and intolerance, is violently misogynistic, and is one of the most barren nations on this earth when it comes to justice.

Distressing stories such as the one above rarely get the response, from our government that they deserve. I’m thinking we may be stationing troops in the wrong country in that part of the world at the moment.

If any nation was deserving of the violent imposition of ‘democracy’ that seems to have become our current favoured methodology, Saudi Arabia must be top of the list.
